Object pose estimation is essential for computer vision applications such as quality inspection, robotic bin picking, and warehouse logistics. However, this task often requires expensive equipment such as 3D cameras or Lidar sensors, as well as significant computational resources. Many state-of-the-art methods for 6D pose estimation depend on deep neural networks, which are computationally demanding and require GPUs for real-time performance.

Tremor is a rhythmic, involuntary oscillatory movement that severely affects some aspects of a patient's daily life. The use of wearable tremor-suppressing orthoses has become an effective, noninvasive treatment method for controlling tremors. This article summarizes recent developments in upper limb tremor suppression orthoses, aiming to provide a foundation for future research.

Cysteine S-carboxyethylation, a novel post-translational modification (PTM), plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases, particularly ankylosing spondylitis. Accurate identification of S-carboxyethylation modification sites is essential for elucidating their functional mechanisms. Unfortunately, there are currently no computational tools that can accurately predict these sites, posing a significant challenge to this area of research.

Introduction: Nigeria is the most populous African country and primary healthcare makes up 88% of health facilities in Nigeria. The majority of these centers are unable to provide surgical care due to unequal distribution of equipment, doctors, and facilities, hence creating a problem. In this paper, we sought to identify, by reviewing the existing literature, the challenges of access to quality surgical care in Nigeria, and also to proffer possible solutions.
