Background: Inadequate pulmonary blood flow in tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) can lead to the development of major aortopulmonary collateral arteries (MAPCA), which interferes with surgical repair. The present study evaluated the features of MAPCAs among patients with TOF and their treatment approaches. Besides, perioperative parameters and mortality rates of our TOF patients with and without MAPCA were compared.

Raynaud's phenomenon (RP) is characterized by episodic vasospasm of the small blood vessels, primarily affecting the fingers and toes. Management includes lifestyle modifications, pharmacological treatments, and in severe cases, surgical interventions. Here we report a case of an 80-year-old male patient with a history of hypertension, dyslipidemia, obesity, and atrial fibrillation who presented to the emergency department with edema, cyanosis, and intense pain in the fingers of both hands following a mild COVID-19 infection (no dyspnea or hypoxemia).

CSVD-related cognitive impairment (CSVD-CI) affects more and more elderly people, resulting in economic losses and burdens on families and society. In recent years, circulating biomarkers have made breakthroughs and played an increasingly important role in the diagnosis, progression, and prognosis of CSVD-associated cognitive impairment, and are expected to be applied to the early clinical detection, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with cerebral small vessel disease.

Microscopic polyangiitis (MPA) affects small and medium vessel, which sometimes leads to arterial aneurysms. In English database, only 15 reports refer to ruptured aneurysms in MPA. We experienced a fatal case with MPA who developed multiple visceral aneurysms, resulting in rupture of the hepatic aneurysm.
