Colloidal nanocrystals inherently undergo structural changes during chemical reactions. The robust structure-property relationships, originating from their nanoscale dimensions, underscore the significance of comprehending the dynamic structural behavior of nanocrystals in reactive chemical media. Moreover, the complexity and heterogeneity inherent in their atomic structures require tracking of structural transitions in individual nanocrystals at three-dimensional (3D) atomic resolution.

Background: Many factors, such as decreased spinal mobility, pain, and dysfunction can affect gait parameters in patients with ankylosing spondylitis. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of plantar fascia enthesitis and disease-specific measurements on gait parameters in patients with ankylosing spondylitis.
Methods: The Win-Track platform was used to evaluate spatiotemporal parameters in patients with ankylosing spondylitis and in healthy controls.

The Varroa destructor (hereafter referred to as Varroa) is a major pest of honeybees that is generally controlled using pyrethroid-based acaricides. However, resistance to these insecticides has become a growing problem, driven by the acquisition of knockdown resistance (kdr) mutations in the mite's voltage-gated sodium channel (vgsc) gene. Resistance mutations in the vgsc gene, such as the L925V mutation, can confer resistance to pyrethroids like flumethrin and tau-fluvalinate.

Background And Objectives: Infants with neonatal hyperbilirubinemia (NH) often require admission after their birth hospitalization for treatment with phototherapy. Our aim was to align local practice with updated national guidelines to promote efficiency and decrease length of stay (LOS) for this patient population by ∼ 10% over a 15-month period using quality improvement methodology.
Methods: Our improvement initiative included infants younger than age 14 days born at more than 35 weeks' gestation admitted to the hospital medicine service with an NH diagnosis.

Optimal foraging theory posits that foragers adjust their movements based on prey abundance to optimize food intake. While extensively studied in terrestrial and marine environments, aerial foraging has remained relatively unexplored due to technological limitations. This study, uniquely combining BirdScan-MR1 radar and the Advanced Tracking and Localization of Animals in Real-Life Systems biotelemetry system, investigates the foraging dynamics of Little Swifts () in response to insect movements over Israel's Hula Valley.
