How do you promote ethical principles on a global scale regarding the use of animals for scientific purposes within a global pharmaceutical company like Sanofi? In 2017, the Advisory Body on Animal Ethics (ABAE) was created to harmonize animal ethics across all Sanofi sites. As an advisory body to the Bioethics Committee, the ABAE addresses societal concerns related to the use of animals and develops corporate policies on critical topics. Its composition, objectives and operating processes are described, along with the results achieved.

Ethanol, a bioactive compound prevalent in both social and industrial applications, is present in alcoholic beverages as well as a range of everyday products. In food, ethanol functions primarily as an additive or a by-product of fermentation, while in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, it serves as a solvent or preservative. Despite its widespread use, three critical research gaps exist in current literature.

In alignment with the global movement toward reducing animal testing, several reconstructed human epidermis (RHE) models have been created for conducting skin irritation tests. These models have undergone development, verification, validation, and integration into OECD TG 439. Our team has introduced a novel in-house RHE named GB-RHE, and we adhere to OECD TG 439 to pre-validate the model and test its potential employment for nanoparticle irritation studies.

This article presents a performance investigation of the range and state of electric charge vehicles based on different drive cycles and analyzed. Range anxiety is the major concern in electric vehicles globally. To mitigate the range anxiety issue by reducing the energy consumption in electric vehicles further reduces the range-related problem, and the state of charge reduces the demand for driver's power.

Background: Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the leading cause of death globally. Demographic, behavioral, socioeconomic, health care, and psychosocial variables considered risk factors for CVD are routinely measured in population health surveys, providing opportunities to examine health transitions. Studying the drivers of health transitions in countries where multiple burdens of disease persist (eg, South Africa), compared with countries regarded as models of "epidemiologic transition" (eg, England), can provide knowledge on where best to intervene and direct resources to reduce the disease burden.
