The direct cross-couplings of aryl nonaflates with aryl bromides could be successfully accomplished by utilizing nickel as the catalyst, magnesium as the metal mediator, and lithium chloride as the additive. The reactions proceeded efficiently in THF at room temperature to produce the desired biaryls in moderate to good yields, showing both a reasonable substrate scope and functional group tolerance. Additionally, an equally good performance could be realized when the reaction was subjected to scale-up synthesis.

Previous studies reported higher rates of post- hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) hepatic sinusoidal obstruction syndrome (SOS) in patients receiving InO versus chemotherapy prior to HSCT. It is unknown if a lower InO dose would reduce risk of post-HSCT SOS or if it would impact efficacy.

Forensic patients are rarely engaged in research to explore what matters most to them, and little guidance exists on how this engagement may be facilitated. Background: Texture analysis has the potential to deliver quantitative imaging markers. Patients receiving computed tomography (CT)-guided percutaneous bone biopsies could be characterized using texture analysis derived from CT. Especially for breast cancer (BC) patients, it could be crucial to better predict the outcome of the biopsy to better reflect the immunohistochemistry status of the tumor.

In addition, we explored the Michael-type addition using -QM and various nucleophiles, providing access to diarylmethane products. The cycloaddition reactions proceeded in a highly regioselective way, depending on the charge distribution of the reacting partners.
