Background: Psychotherapeutic memory plays an important role in maintaining therapeutic effects; however, the neural mechanisms of therapeutic metaphor promoting long-term memory were still unknown.
Objective: This study used metaphorical micro-counseling dialog scenarios to investigate the memory effect of therapeutic metaphor and correlated neural mechanisms.
Methods: At first, 31 participants read a mental distress problem, followed by a metaphorical or a literal solution, while undergoing functional magnetic resonance imaging scanning during the encoding phase.

Purpose: The application of robotics in revision arthroplasty particularly from unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) to total knee arthroplasty (TKA), is underexplored. The purpose of this study is to describe the surgical technique of an imageless robotic system used in the revision of UKA to TKA and to evaluate short- to mid-term outcomes.
Methods: This prospective study includes 35 patients treated from May 2020 to July 2023.

This review examines Australian and international literature on older care leavers' experiences with aged care services, highlighting their preferences for home-based care that respects autonomy and personal history. It identifies systemic issues within aged care, including workforce challenges and a lack of tailored, trauma-informed support, that hinder effective care. The review underscores the need to incorporate care leavers' voices in research to inform policy and practice.

Mucosal or endobronchial biopsies (EBB) are typically used in the diagnosis of directly visualized bronchial lesions, infection, and sarcoidosis, but their utility in the evaluation of lung transplant recipients is controversial. EBB represents an attractive alternative to transbronchial biopsy (TBB): EBB provides straightforward sampling of airway pathology with decreased complication rates due to minimal and visualizable bleeding and the elimination of pneumothorax risk. In lung transplant recipients, EBB may be obtained when TBB is too high-risk, including in the setting of acute lung allograft dysfunction (ALAD) requiring mechanical ventilation or in advanced chronic lung allograft dysfunction (CLAD).

Materials And Methods: Data were retrospectively analyzed for patients who received hip resurfacing between 2010 and 2021. Eligible patients had postoperative radiographs and completed a minimum 2-year follow-up questionnaire for the following patient-reported outcomes: modified Harris Hip Score (mHHS), Harris Hip Score (HHS), Forgotten Joint Score (FJS), visual analog scale (VAS) score, satisfaction, and Hip Disability and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score, Joint Replacement (HOOS-JR).
