Objectives: Urinary incontinence is an extremely stressful and often debilitating disease, increasing morbidity in society. The aim of the work is to point out the problems of the management of incontinent patients - seniors in the context of their quality of life as well as treatment costs to find ways to make the widest possible public awareness of the fact that in most cases incontinence is solvable in terms of improving the quality of life.

Methods: The group consisted of 100 patients with urinary incontinence who were treated with conservative medical procedures at the urological outpatient clinic of the Railway Hospital in Košice.

Hypoplasia of the upper jaw to one degree or another inevitably occurs in patients with cleft lip and palate. The most difficult task is to fix skeletal deformity of the upper jaw, especially the discrepancy between its transversal dimensions due to the high risks of recurrence after treatment. One of the key stages of rehabilitation of this group of patients is orthodontics and surgical treatment aimed at eliminating functional and aesthetic problems of the dental system.

Root canal retreatment (Re-RCT) cases have shortcomings due to the ineffective removal of the root canal filling material, eventually leading to endodontic failure. This study aims to test the comparative efficacy of retreatment files in removing calcium silicate-based sealer and epoxy resin-based sealer. Thirty-two single-rooted teeth were decoronated at 15 mm and bio-mechanical preparation was performed.

Isolated medial malleolar fractures (IMMFs) are uncommon and often occur with other ankle injuries, complicating their treatment and management. This review aims to compare the complication rates and functional outcomes of surgical versus conservative treatment for IMMFs in skeletally mature patients. The literature suggests that for IMMFs with less than 2 mm of displacement, conservative treatment provides functional outcomes similar to surgical interventions, with minimal complications.
