We report a rare case of adenoid carcinoma of the endocervix (cylindroma). Laparoscopic lymphadenectomy and extended vaginal hysterectomy (Schauta-Dargent operation) was successfully performed. We present illustrative pathology findings and review the literature on this severe disease.

The evidence that pregnancy may be associated with the progression of adenoid cystic cancer is discussed.
