Spatially resolved transcriptomics (SRT) technologies facilitate the exploration of cell fates or states within tissue microenvironments. Despite these advances, the field has not adequately addressed the regulatory heterogeneity influenced by microenvironmental factors. Here, we propose a novel Spatially Aligned Graph Transfer Learning (SpaGTL), pretrained on a large-scale multi-modal SRT data of about 100 million cells/spots to enable inference of context-specific spatial gene regulatory networks across multiple scales in data-limited settings.

Microstructural parameters are essential in tumor research, aiding in the understanding tumor pathogenesis, grading, and therapeutic efficacy. The imaging microstructural parameters using limited spectrally edited diffusion (IMPULSED) model is the most widely used MR cell size imaging technique, demonstrating success in measuring microstructural parameters of solid tumors in vivo. However, its clinical application is limited by the longer scan times required for both pulsed gradient spin-echo (PGSE) and multiple oscillating gradient spin-echo (OGSE) acquisitions across a range of b-values, which can be burdensome for patients and disrupt clinical workflows.

Background: The rising incidence of parotid gland tumors, with a focus on pleomorphic adenomas (PMA) and Warthin tumors (WT), necessitates accurate preoperative distinction due to their treatment variability and PMA's malignant potential. Traditional imaging, while valuable, has limited accuracy. This study employs multi-slice computed tomography (MSCT) radiomics coupled with serum alpha-L-fucosidase (AFU) levels to develop a diagnostic model aimed at elevating clinical discernment and precision therapy delivery.

This study assesses radiation doses in multi-slice computed tomography (CT) using epoxy resin and PMMA phantoms, focusing on the relationship between TAR (tissue air ratio) and kilovoltage peak (kVp). The research was conducted using a Hitachi Supria 16-slice CT scanner. An epoxy resin phantom was fabricated from commercially available materials, to simulate human tissue.

We introduce a new approach to the numerical simulation of Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy images. The Lattice Multislice Algorithm takes advantage of the fact that the electron waves passing through the specimen have limited bandwidth and therefore can be approximated very well by a low-dimensional linear space spanned by translations of a well-localized function. Just like in the PRISM algorithm recently published by C.
