Observation of the fetal movement and fetal heart rate responses to repeated vibroacoustic stimulation might be useful as a measure to assess fetal well-being. Studies of abnormal fetuses are needed to gain insight in the spectrum of possible responses to stimulation. We present a case of a fetus with trisomy 18 that failed to respond to repeated stimulation.

Upper eyelid retraction (UER) is the most common sign of thyroid eye disease (TED) and may result in lagophthalmos and exposure keratopathy. Measures to address UER are varied and include conservative treatment, surgical intervention, and injections of botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid (HA) filler, and triamcinolone acetonide (TA). Our article will discuss the various nonsurgical aspects of managing TED-related UER, focusing on the injections of botulinum toxin, HA filler, and TA to the upper eyelid, which have all been reported to be effective in improving UER in both active and inactive states of TED.

Background: The response to the global call for more data on children's and adolescents' diets and nutrition is limited by the lack of straightforward practical indicators to track their diet quality. On the basis of a food group score compiled from 10 food groups (FGS-10), the minimum dietary diversity for women, calculated as FGS-10 ≥ 5, is a validated proxy population indicator for better micronutrient intake adequacy for adult women in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
Objectives: This study aims to validate FGS-10 and its related cutoffs against micronutrient intake adequacy in 4-15-y-old children/adolescents in LMICs.
Third-party adolescents (those aware of peer conflict as neither aggressors nor victims) can help shape their peers' emotional responses to perceived victimization. Emotion regulation promotes resilience for those who have been victimized, and heightened anger can exacerbate negative outcomes. This study sought to understand how ethnically diverse victimized adolescents described third-party actions that amplified their anger and calmed their emotions-and whether there were gender, racial/ethnic, or school-level patterns.

Cortisol awakening response (CAR) research relies upon self-collected saliva sampling during the post-awakening period. It is unknown how the CAR protocol is perceived and how they may affect typical routines relevant to CAR methodology. CAR assessment is sensitive to state variables, suggesting that CAR measurement may be affected by research participation.
