The rising popularity of wearable activity tracking devices can be attributed to their capacity for gathering and analysing ambient data, which finds utility across numerous applications. In this study, a wearable activity tracking device is developed using the BBC micro:bit development board to identify basic bachata dance steps. Initially, a pair of smart ankle bracelets is crafted, employing the BBC micro:bit board equipped with a built-in accelerometer sensor and a Bluetooth module for transmitting accelerometer data to smartphones.

After some consumer products indicated elevated levels of 232Th progeny by gamma-ray spectrometry, a microwave digestion and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) procedure was implemented for the direct assay of 232Th content to ensure compliance with Federal regulations and guidelines. Researchers have attempted to control robotic hands and prostheses through biosignals but could not match the human hand. Surface electromyography records electrical muscle activity using non-invasive electrodes and has been the primary method in most studies. While surface electromyography-based hand motion decoding shows promise, it has not yet met the requirements for reliable use.
