The left internal mammary artery (LIMA) is the arterial conduit of choice for minimally invasive coronary bypass to the left anterior descending (LAD). However, in redo cases when the LIMA is not available, the use of a saphenous vein graft as an extra-anatomic bypass from the axillary artery to the LAD offers a lower risk alternative than conventional reoperative trans-sternal surgery [Knight 1997]. We report on 3 patients who underwent axillary-LAD saphenous vein bypass. At six months, follow-up by Duplex ultrasound showed patent grafts in all three patients.

PurposeThis study aims to evaluate recovery time, patient-centric postoperative outcomes, and the efficacy of endovenous laser ablation (LA) and radiofrequency ablation (RFA) in treating venous insufficiency associated with great saphenous vein (GSV) reflux.MethodsIn this single-center, self-paired, randomized trial, 16 limbs from 8 patients with symptomatic bilateral GSV insufficiency were treated. LA was performed on one lower limb, and after 40 days, the contralateral limb was treated with RFA.

ObjectivesInfection of peripheral interposition grafts is a rare but devastating complication following aneurysm repair. Typically, graft infection necessitates explantation and, if possible, revascularization of the limb. However, treatment complexity varies substantially depending on the location and extent of infection.

Introduction: This study aimed to assess the midterm efficacy and symptoms of sclerosing foam combined with endovenous laser ablation in treating lower-extremity varicose veins.
Methods: This study analyzed 838 patients (985 limbs) with varicose veins in one or both lower extremities, treated at our center from September 2020 to June 2022. All patients underwent sclerosing foam combined with endovenous laser ablation.

The rising global incidence of kidney failure has increased the demand for long-term hemodialysis, which requires reliable vascular access. While arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs) are typically preferred, alternative approaches are needed when autogenous options are exhausted. The use of translocated autologous saphenous vein (SV) conduits has been predominantly documented in developed countries but rarely employed in developing nations, including Vietnam.

Diagnosing sarcoid neuropathy (SN) can be difficult because of its nonspecific symptoms and requirement for histological confirmation. We herein report a 71-year-old woman who presented with distal muscle weakness and paresthesia. Nerve conduction studies support the existence of polyneuropathy.
