From the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Abdominal Imaging, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX.
Objective: This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of a dual digital alert system and automatic radiologist reassignment in improving the efficiency of quantitative imaging report delivery for clinical trials.
Materials And Methods: Assessing tumor metrics is critical to oncologic disease management, informed treatment planning, and for monitoring therapeutic response and even more so in cancer clinical research trials. A collaborative effort with the Institutional Research Information Systems division led to developing a web-based system with a Java backend, tested using Agile methodology to improve patient care with improved turnaround time (TAT) of quantitative reports.

Introduction: Radiation Dose Monitoring Software (DMS) tools have been developed to monitor doses and alert computed tomography (CT) users of high radiation exposure. However, the causal factors for alerts and the impact of DMS in dose optimisation are poorly understood.
Aim: This review aims to identify high-dose CT examinations triggering alerts and their determinants, and to assess if the alerts from DMS help to reduce CT dose levels.

River flood forecasting and assessment are crucial for reducing flood risks, as they offer early alerts and allow for proactive actions to safeguard individuals from possible flood-related damage. Effective modeling in this field often multiple interconnected aspects of the hydrologic cycle, such as precipitation, infiltration, runoff, and evaporation, requiring collaboration among hydrology experts. Such collaboration enables experts to handle and manage their specialized processes more effectively, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the development of integrated flood forecasting models.

Background: Long-term unobtrusive monitoring of breathing patterns can potentially give a more realistic insight into the respiratory health of people with asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease than brief tests performed in medical environments. However, it is uncertain whether users would be willing to wear these sensor garments long term.
Objective: Our objective was to explore whether users would wear ordinary looking knitted garments with unobtrusive knitted-in breathing sensors long term to monitor their lung health and under what conditions.

Purpose: This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of sensor technologies employed in interventions to enhance patient adherence to inhalation therapy for chronic respiratory diseases, with a particular emphasis on human factors. Sensor-based interventions offer opportunities to improve adherence through monitoring and feedback; however, a deeper understanding of how these technologies interact with patients is essential.
Patients And Methods: We conducted a systematic review by searching online databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Science Direct, and ACM Digital Library, spanning the timeframe from January 2014 to December 2023.
