This article presents a preliminary commentary on the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical labels of reproductive toxicant chemicals frequently used in biotechnology laboratories. This included six chemicals (chloroform, acrylamide, cobalt chloride hexahydrate, dimethyl formamide, boric acid, and 6-benzylaminopurine) and the main chemical mixture (comprising 60-100% formamide by weight) used in next sequencing generation (NGS). Section 2 (hazard identification), Section 3 (composition), Section 4 (first aid measures and reported health effects), Section 8 (recommended engineering controls and personnel protective equipment/PPE), and Section 11 (toxicological information) of the SDS were evaluated.

Background: We investigated the efficacy of dolutegravir/lamivudine for maintenance treatment for people with HIV and previous lamivudine resistance.
Methods: Open-label, single arm, multicentric clinical trial including virologically suppressed PWH with historical lamivudine resistance (confirmed by genotypic testing or suspected based on clinical history), no integrase resistance and CD4+ >200 cells/mm3 whose ART was changed to dolutegravir/lamivudine if the M184V/I mutation was not detected in baseline proviral DNA population sequencing. Proviral DNA next-generation sequencing (NGS) was retrospectively performed in baseline samples.
Objectives: The development and use of novel systemic anticancer therapy (SACT) treatments are advancing rapidly. While cytotoxic drugs have traditionally been the cornerstone of treatment, they are increasingly used alongside novel agents. This study aims to assess factors affecting adherence to safe-handling precautions, enhance safety protocols, and minimize potential occupational exposure to hazards in clinical environments, increasing their capacity for novel treatments.

Increase in the antibiotic's usage and mis-management in antibiotics' disposal has led to the occurrence of antibiotic residues in the surface water bodies. These residues may pose considerable risks to the human as well as aquatic organisms owing to the enhancement in antimicrobial resistance among microbes. Hence, precautionary measures are need of the hour to curtail the occurrence of antibiotic compounds in water.

The purpose of the present publication is to propose a practical application of values for medical radiological protection professions. As medicine has a long history and strong culture of ethics, this publication starts by identifying the shared values, and defines a common language between biomedical ethics and radiological protection.
