Unlabelled: The aim of research was to study catecholamine excretion peculiarities of the children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). 25 children at the age of 7-9 years took part in this research. High-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used for measuring the content of catecholamine. The content of catecholamine was defined in the morning samples of urine. The examination showed, that ADHD children had the basal level of epinephrine and norepinephrine more than the normal control in 3.9 and 5.4 times. After cognitive tests the content of norepinephrine reduced in the ADHD group in 2.1 times in the comparison with normal control. On the contrary content of epinephrine increased in 2.8 times.
Conclusion: Simpatico-adrenal system hyperactivity (especially it's adrenals component) characterized ADHD children.

Background: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) affects about 13% of adolescents and is associated with substance use-related morbidity and mortality. While evidence on effective interventions to reduce alcohol use among adolescents with ADHD is limited, parent-teen communication about alcohol use has been found to be protective. Other approaches, such as educational interventions, hold promise to reduce alcohol-related harms in adolescents with ADHD.

Objective: To investigate resting-state fMRI (rsfMRI)-complexity alterations among children with ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), respectively, and comorbid ADHD, ODD, and OCD, within the cool and hot executive function (EF) networks.
Design: We leveraged baseline data (wave 0) from the Adolescent Brain and Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been associated with increased neuropsychiatric conditions in children and youths, with evidence suggesting that SARS-CoV-2 infection may contribute additional risks beyond pandemic stressors. This study aimed to assess the full spectrum of neuropsychiatric conditions in COVID-19 positive children (ages 5-12) and youths (ages 12-20) compared to a matched COVID-19 negative cohort, accounting for factors influencing infection risk. Using EHR data from 25 institutions in the RECOVER program, we conducted a retrospective analysis of 326,074 COVID-19 positive and 887,314 negative participants matched for risk factors and stratified by age.
