Background: Atherosclerosis (AS) is a major contributor to vascular disorders and represents a significant risk to human health. Currently, first-line pharmacotherapies are associated with substantial side effects, and the development of atherosclerosis is closely linked to dietary factors. Inflammatory bowel disease is a collection of intestinal disorders that cause inflammation in the digestive tract. Prolonged inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract is a major risk factor for colorectal cancer. The objective of this study was to fucus on gene expression levels of (KRT-14; associated with epithelial cell integrity) and enhancer of zeste homolog-1 (EZH-2; involved in cellular proliferation) in a IBD rat model in order to rule out impact of nutraceuticals (pumpkin seed oil; PSO) as a complementary approach to conventional treatments of IBD.

However, there is a lack of systematic research on the association of dietary intake of folate and serum, and red blood cell (RBC) folate levels with global cognitive impairment (CoI) in the elderly population. Importantly, excessive supplementation with folate among American adults at high risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) may have harmful effects.

To investigate the efficacy of dual kidney transplantation (DKT) from adult donors. Clinical data of adult DKT donors and recipients in the Institute of Organ Transplantation, Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology from March 2015 to June 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were followed up until September 2024.
