Introduction: Cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) is a chronic systemic degenerative disease affecting small blood vessels in the brain, leading to cognitive impairments. Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), a non-invasive brain stimulation technique that applies low electrical currents to the scalp, shows promise in treating cognitive and movement disorders. However, further clinical evaluation is required to assess the long-term effects of tDCS on neuroplasticity and gait in patients with CSVD.

Introduction: Breast cancer is the most common and deadliest cancer in Syria, and early detection is crucial in managing it. This study aims to compare the knowledge levels of breast cancer risk factors, signs, and symptoms among female students in healthcare faculties (medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy) at Damascus University to identify existing disparities. The goal is to enhance breast cancer education and awareness across Syria by empowering healthcare students with insights.

Background: Enhancing nursing undergraduates' sense of coherence is crucial for the growth of the nursing workforce. Yet, existing research primarily examines the aggregate level of sense of coherence among nursing undergraduates and its correlations with other variables, overlooking the individual heterogeneity in nursing undergraduates' sense of coherence in nursing. This study aimed to identify different subgroups of nursing undergraduates' sense of coherence and explore the influencing factors pertinent to each subgroup.

Catalytic oxidation of formaldehyde (HCHO) is a highly effective method for indoor HCHO removal. However, many aspects of the catalytic mechanism remain unclear, making the optimization of catalysts largely empirical. Herein, we report a coupled experimental and computational study of Pt/TiO catalysts, with special focus on the functional roles of surface oxygen vacancies and hydroxyl groups in the catalytic oxidation of HCHO.

Rigid, conjugated molecules are excellent candidates as molecular wires since they can achieve full extension between electrodes while maintaining conjugation. Molecular design can be used to minimize the accessible pi surface and interactions between the bridging wire and the electrode. Polyynes are archetypal molecular wires that feature a rigid molecular framework with a cross-section of a single carbon atom.
