[A case of nasopharyngeal rhabdomyosarcoma in 8-year-old girl].

Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is a very often malignant neoplasm of head and neck region in children--especially till the age of 10. There are 3 histological types of RMS: embryonal, follicular, others. The authors describe a case of nasopharyngeal RMS in 8-years old girl. They also indicate a necessity in--depth differential diagnostic of pharyngeal tonsils hypertrophy having atypical morphological structure. Frequently there is a need to use the immunohistochemical methods in histopathological studies of biopsy specimens or post operative tissue materials.
