This research aims to identify wet-cooled CSP (Concentrated Solar Power) solar power plants connected to the existing electricity grid in Cameroon. This study uses a hybrid approach which combines an MDCM-AHP method (Multi-Criteria Analysis Method - Hierarchical Analysis Process) and a GIS (Geographic Information System). The elements studied are the climate (Direct Normal Irradiance (DNI), temperature), orography (slope and elevation) and location (proximity to the electricity network, proximity to roads and railways, proximity to homes), in order to determine the weight of these different factors and combine them to obtain the final map.

Nest sites are important for ants, as the nests provide refuge against enemies and ensure optimal conditions for the brood development. As the construction of a nest is a time and energy consuming activity, many ant species dwell in ready-for-use cavities. For them, choosing a good nest site is important, as the quality of nest site could affect factors such as the energy allocation and production of sexual individuals.

Objectives: At present, most genetic tests or carrier screening are performed with blood samples, and the known carrier rate of disease-causing variants is also derived from blood. For semen donors, what is really passed on to offspring is the pathogenic variant in their sperm. This study aimed to determine whether pathogenic variants identified in the sperm of young semen donors are also present in their blood, and whether matching results for blood are consistent with results for sperm.

This research chooses Pakistan as an ideal case to explore the connection between economic expansion and carbon emissions, by incorporating a novel approach of using coupled stochastic equations to estimate this dynamic interaction. The GDP (Gross domestic product) in Pakistan has been ascending over the time of 1960-2023, with short episodes of stagnation (mid 80s) and decline (1973, 2009). Since 2010, the growth rate has been rising annually, reaching 4.
