At arterial phase gadolinium-enhanced magnetic resonance (MR) angiography, artifactual stenosis of the subclavian artery is sometimes seen adjacent to the subclavian vein on the side of the contrast material injection. Experiments in phantoms and in 19 patients showed increased artifact with longer echo time and higher concentration of injected contrast material. An effective method to substantially decrease this susceptibility artifact was threefold dilution of gadopentetate dimeglumine and use of a short echo time (1 msec).

Purpose: To evaluate the effectiveness of ultra-fast two-dimensional (2D) T2*-weighted multi-shot echo-planar imaging (MS-EPI) for the detection of cerebral microbleeds (CMB) in cognitive disorders.
Methods: Sixty-eight patients referred for neuroimaging to investigate cognitive disorders underwent 3 T MR imaging, with both 2D T2*-weighted MS-EPI and susceptibility-weighted angiography (SWAN). Microbleeds were separately assessed on 2D T2*-weighted MS-EPI and SWAN by 2 raters.
Over the past two decades, rapid advancements in magnetic resonance technology have significantly enhanced the imaging resolution of functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), far surpassing its initial capabilities. Beyond mapping brain functional architecture at unprecedented scales, high-spatial-resolution acquisitions have also inspired and enabled several novel analytical strategies that can potentially improve the sensitivity and neuronal specificity of fMRI. With small voxels, one can sample from different levels of the vascular hierarchy within the cerebral cortex and resolve the temporal progression of hemodynamic changes from parenchymal to pial vessels.

Introduction: Mucinous Cystadenocarcinoma (MCA) of the breast remains a relatively rare condition, and to date, there is no systematic summary of its imaging manifestations. Therefore, this report presents a detailed account of the diagnosis and treatment of mucinous cystadenocarcinoma in a 40-year-old woman, with a particular focus on imaging findings. Additionally, we conducted a comprehensive literature review on this disease and summarized its key imaging features.
