In a double-blind study on 36 volunteers the effects of 250 mug/kg (--)delta-9-trans-tetrahydrocannabinol p.o. on objective and performance tests measuring psychoticism according to Eysenck were assessed. The hypothesis was tested that subjects treated with delta-9-THC differ from those receiving placebo in the same way as endogenous psychotics differ from normals. Confirmation was obtained in only 5 out of 19 variables. Four of these 5 variables may be considered as tests of concentration.

Autotaxin is primarily known for the formation of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) from lysophosphatidylcholine. LPA is an important signaling phospholipid that can bind to six G protein-coupled receptors (LPA). The ATX-LPA signaling axis is a critical component in many physiological and pathophysiological conditions.

Ovarian cancer (OC) is the most lethal gynecological malignancy, with about 70% of cases diagnosed only at an advanced stage. , which produces more than 150 phytocannabinoids, is used worldwide to alleviate numerous symptoms associated with various medical conditions. Recently, studies across a range of cancer types have demonstrated that the phytocannabinoids Δ-trans-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) have anti-cancer activity in vitro and in vivo, but also the potential to increase other drugs' adverse effects.

Introduction: Preliminary clinical studies on medical cannabis (MC) treatment using the Syqe Inhaler showed short-term effectiveness and safety at very low and precise doses of MC.
Objectives: Here, we retrospectively analyzed "real-life" long-term data collected in real time on the potential effectiveness and safety of MC administered with this device.
Methods: Patients were monitored by Syqe's patient support program.

In the last decades, growing evidence showed the therapeutic capabilities of plants. These capabilities were attributed to the specialized secondary metabolites stored in the glandular trichomes of female inflorescences, mainly phytocannabinoids and terpenoids. The accumulation of the metabolites in the flower is versatile and influenced by a largely unknown regulation system, attributed to genetic, developmental and environmental factors.

Chronic non-cancer pain (CNCP) is one of the most prevalent indications for medical cannabis (MC) treatment globally. In this study, we investigated CNCP parameters in patients during prolonged MC treatment, and assessed the interrelation between CNCP parameters and the chemical composition of MC chemovar used. A cross-sectional questionnaire-based study was performed in one-month intervals for the duration of six months.
