This paper proposes a method to control the sensitivity of a ring MEMS gyroscope by adjusting the driving control voltage via MEMS. The aim is to explore the relationship between the range of the ring MEMS gyroscope and the driving control voltage, establishing a mathematical model that correlates driving control voltage with sensitivity. By applying different driving voltages to the same gyroscope, the study evaluates the performance and range of the gyroscope.

In cataract surgery, post-surgical stability of the intraocular lens plays a major role. This study aims to explore how the size and decentration of the capsulorhexis affect intraocular lens decentration and tilt by using numerical methods. Finite element models included zonules, ciliary body, capsular bag, and an IOL with two open-loop haptics were built.

Purpose: Serial dependence refers to the attraction of current perceptual responses toward previously seen stimuli. Despite extensive research on serial dependence, fundamental questions, such as how serial dependence changes with development, whether it affects the perception of sensory input, and what qualifies as serial dependence, remain unresolved. The current study aims to address these questions.

Importance: The closed-loop infusion system can automatically adjust and maintain the depth of anesthesia by using the propofol target-controlled infusion (TCI) model under the feedback guidance of the bispectral index (BIS).
Objective: To evaluate the safety and superiority of closed-loop TCI of propofol guided by BIS during maintenance of generalized intravenous anesthesia for preschool children.
Methods: A total of 120 children aged 1-6 years were enrolled and were divided into a closed-loop feedback group (Group C) and an open-loop manual control group (Group O), with 60 participants in each group.

Closed-loop neural control is a powerful tool for both the scientific exploration of neural function and for mitigating deficiencies found in open-loop deep brain stimulation (DBS). Here, we present a protocol for artificial intelligence-guided neural control in rats using deep reinforcement learning (RL) and infrared neural stimulation (INS). We describe steps for integrating RL closed-loop control into neuroscience and neuromodulation studies.
