We report a case of carpal injury not previously described, associating three lesions of the carpus secondary to a hyperextension mechanism: fracture of the capitate, scapho-trapezio-trapezoid sprain and lunotriquetral ligament rupture. The patient was operated by percutaneous pinning after closed reduction. The capitate fracture was not fixed. At follow-up, the patient had no restriction of his everyday activities and was very satisfied.

Efficient synthesis of zeolites with different topologies is of great significance for both fundamental research and industrial application. Herein, the SSZ-23 zeolite, an odd zeolite containing 7-membered ring (7-MR) and 9-MR channels, has been synthesized under fluorine-free conditions the route of pre-aging and pH regulation. By this novel synthesis route, the crystallization time can be significantly shortened to 3 days, nearly half as that by the conventional route in fluoride media.

Existing visual question answering methods often suffer from cross-modal spurious correlations and oversimplified event-level reasoning processes that fail to capture event temporality, causality, and dynamics spanning over the video. In this work, to address the task of event-level visual question answering, we propose a framework for cross-modal causal relational reasoning. In particular, a set of causal intervention operations is introduced to discover the underlying causal structures across visual and linguistic modalities.

Background: Despite the spontaneous regression of many cases of coronary artery fistulas (CAFs), symptomatic patients or cases with severe shunting may require therapeutic interventions. In the present study, we aimed to assess the outcome of treatment of CAFs using interventional approaches.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study was performed on 29 patients with CAFs that were referred to our tertiary center between 2009 and 2019.
