Complex dislocation of the metacarpophalangeal joint of the index finger is an uncommon injury. The authors report seven cases, including three neglected dislocations, two with associated osteochondral fractures and one with sesamoid entrapment. Open reduction was necessary in each of the seven cases. In recent dislocations (four cases), both approaches were successful in obtaining reduction and normal finger movements were obtained. The dorsal approach was simple and safe, while the palmar approach was difficult and had many disadvantages. In the case with sesamoid entrapment, the sesamoid had to be removed to achieve reduction. In neglected dislocations (three cases), the dorsal approach was successful in one case (three weeks), two incisions were necessary in one case (seven months), and one case was treated by Swanson prothesis (two years). None of these patients regained normal mobility postoperatively.

Introduction And Importance: Neglected posterior hip dislocations in adults are rare, particularly when untreated for years. In developing nations, patients often rely on traditional bone setters, leading to delayed diagnosis and increased complications. Adult hip dislocations carry a higher risk of avascular necrosis and require complex treatments.

Introduction: Posterior shoulder dislocation with a reverse Hill-Sachs lesion is a rare and complex injury, requiring specialized treatment due to the difficulty in diagnosis, reduction, and addressing both sides of the pathology to reduce the potential for recurrent dislocation.
Purpose: To evaluate the clinical and functional outcomes of closed reduction and arthroscopic McLaughlin procedure with posterior labral repair in patients with neglected locked posterior shoulder dislocation for less than 12 weeks.
Methods: A prospective study was conducted at university hospitals, managing 15 patients with neglected locked posterior shoulder dislocation for less than 12 weeks and concomitant engaging reverse Hill-Sachs lesions of less than 40% of the humeral articular surface.

Objective: This study aims to investigate the surface electromyography (sEMG) characteristics of upper limb muscles in children with neglected Monteggia fracture after open reduction of radial head dislocation and ulna osteotomy and bone grafting internal fixation, and to understand the recovery of muscle activity in children after operation, provide reference for clinical rehabilitation.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on sixteen children with neglected Monteggia fracture who underwent ulna osteotomy at our hospital from January 2021 to August 2022. The biceps brachii, triceps brachii, flexor carpi radialis, and extensor carpi ulnaris muscle activities were recorded during grip strength tests, flexion and extension of elbow joint while holding a 1 kg dumbbell, as well as gripping tasks.
