AI Article Synopsis

  • The study analyzed the serum from 20 patients with chronic pancreatitis along with biliary tract and gallbladder diseases using crystalloscopy.
  • A unique crystal structure was identified, characterized by a dendritic large-porous lattice, linked to high levels of trypsin in the blood.
  • The proposed test for this structure is straightforward and could be helpful in diagnosing chronic pancreatitis.

Article Abstract

The sera from 20 patients with chronic pancreatitis concurrent with diseases of biliary tract and gallbladder were first crystalloscopically studied. Hypertrypsinemia was followed by the appearance of a specific structure appeared as crystals made by a continuum dendritic large-porous lattice. The test proposed is easy-to-use and may be useful in diagnosing chronic pancreatitis.
