Iris varix is rare and little is known about its clinical characteristics. We treated a thrombosed iris varix that simulated an iris melanoma. A 53-year-old man developed a dark brown iris mass and hyphema in his left eye. Ultrasound biomicroscopy revealed a circumscribed mass of the iris stroma. Because of suspicion for melanoma, it was removed by sector iridectomy. Histopathologic examination disclosed an extensive focus of stromal hemorrhage, partially surrounded by endothelial cells that showed immunoreactivity to vascular markers. The histopathologic diagnosis was thrombosed iris varix. Iris varix is a rare condition that should be included in the differential diagnosis of iris melanoma.

Background: Donnai Barrow Syndrome (DBS) is a rare, multi-system autosomal recessively inherited disorder of relevance to ophthalmologists. To aim to describe the ocular phenotype using multimodal imaging for two cases of genetically confirmed DBS and compare against the published phenotype.
Materials And Methods: Retrospective case series of two unrelated patients with DBS and review of the literature.

Objective: To describe typical clinical presentation of patients with microfistular, capillary-venule (CV) malformation as a variant form of arteriovenous malformations (AVM).
Methods: A retrospective clinical analysis of 15 patients with CV-AVM confirmed by a computational flow model enrolled in a prospective database of patients with congenital vascular malformation between January 2008 and May 2018.
Results: The mean age of the patients at first time of presentation was 30 years with balanced sex ratio.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe the clinical characteristics, multimodality imaging findings, and clinical course of iris varices.
Methods: Retrospective, noncomparative, observational case series of 28 eyes of 26 patients with iris varices, diagnosed between 2007 and 2017, has been used.
Results: The mean (±SD) age was 58.

Objective: We previously reported 3-month and 12-month occlusion rates after treatment of clinically symptomatic saphenous vein reflux with either cyanoacrylate closure (CAC) using the VenaSeal Closure System (Medtronic, Dublin, Ireland) or radiofrequency ablation (RFA) in a randomized, multicenter, clinical trial, VenaSeal Sapheon Closure System vs Radiofrequency Ablation for Incompetent Great Saphenous Veins (VeClose). Herein we report the 24-month follow-up results of the VeClose trial.
Methods: There were 222 patients with symptomatic great saphenous vein (GSV) incompetence who were randomly assigned to receive either CAC (n = 108) or RFA (n = 114).
