Adverse cutaneous reactions to medications are not uncommon and may resemble viral infection and vice versa, complicating diagnosis. We describe the case of a 79-year-old male with cholangiocarcinoma with liver and presumed lung metastasis who presented with abdominal pain and was admitted with ileitis with partial small bowel obstruction. He had a widespread papulovesicular rash with hemorrhagic center, mostly on his face, chest, and back.

There are two main types of infectious spondylitis reported in literature following kyphoplasty or vertebroplasty: tuberculous spondylitis and pyogenic spondylitis; no cases of spondylitis have been reported to date. We present a unique case of spondylitis with intraspinal abscess following vertebroplasty. The patient suffered from osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture (OVCF) of the L4 vertebra and received vertebroplasty; he ate mutton while traveling in the epidemic area a week before vertebroplasty.

Retroperitoneal fibrosis is a rare disease manifesting as chronic soft tissue fibrosis in the retroperitoneum, with potential anatomic and/or functional compromise of adjacent organs. It can be primary (idiopathic) or secondary to other conditions such as cancers, radiotherapy, surgery, traumatisms, infections, autoimmune disorders, or drugs. We report herein a 54-year-old patient with symptomatic retroperitoneal fibrosis leading to bilateral hydronephrosis and renal failure, in whom, after a complex diagnostic workup and protracted clinical course, a follicular lymphoma in the retroperitoneal was identified.

Ewing's sarcoma is the second most common malignant bone tumor in children, with the worst outcomes seen in patients over the age of 20. However, the onset of the disease is much less common in people over the age of 30. This case represents the diagnostic dilemma posed by an otherwise "straight forward" case of back pain.
