Objective: For patients with infantile epileptic spasms syndrome (IESS) who have achieved remission of epileptic spasms (ES), indicators of how well the electroencephalographic (EEG) state should be maintained during follow-up are not available. We hypothesized that the time course of the Burden of Amplitudes and Epileptiform Discharges (BASED) score after ES remission is associated with ES relapse. This study aimed to investigate the association between ES relapse and BASED scores at the time of initial ES remission and during the subsequent follow-up period.

Background: Supplementing outpatient medical care with the use of video consultations could, among other benefits, improve access, especially in structurally disadvantaged areas.
Objective: This claims data analysis, carried out as part of the German research project "Preference-based use of video consultation in urban and rural regions," aimed to analyze the use of video consultations and the characteristics of its user groups.
Methods: Claims data from 3 Statutory Health Insurance Funds (SHIFs) and 4 Associations of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (ASHIPs) from the period April 2017 to the end of 2020 were used.

Background: Although HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) has been proven to be an effective prevention tool in decreasing HIV transmission, achieving adequate PrEP uptake has remained a challenge among Black cisgender women living in the Southern United States. Gynecology clinics, which provide primary health care services for many cisgender women, have the potential to be an ideal setting for the integration of PrEP services.
Objective: We designed an intervention, PrEP4Her, which aims to implement PrEP service delivery at gynecology clinics in Alabama, the United States, as part of routine reproductive and sexual health care visits to improve PrEP engagement rates among Black cisgender women.

Objectives: To explore the characteristic fragment ions, ion abundance ratios and mass spectrometry fragmentation rules of etomidate and its structural analogues by using gas chromatography-quadrupole/orbitrap mass spectrometry (GC-Q/Orbitrap MS) and liquid chromatography-linear ion trap quadrupole-orbitrap mass spectrometry (LC-LTQ-Orbitrap MS) techniques, providing important data support for the identification and prediction of etomidate structural analogues.
Methods: GC-Q/Orbitrap MS and LC-LTQ-Orbitrap MS were used to analyze metomidate, etomidate, isopropoxate and propoxate, to obtain their GC high resolution mass spectra and LC high resolution mass spectra.
Results: Under the electron impact (EI) ion source mode, etomidate, metomidate and the other two analogues all produced their molecular ions and seven identical fragment ions ( 77.

Objectives: To establish a method to identify an unknown substance based on the combined use of gas chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC-QTOF-MS), ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole/electrostatic field orbitrap high resolution mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q/Orbitrap HRMS)and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) techniques.
Methods: The unknown substance was dissolved in methanol and was detected by GC-QTOF-MS and UPLC-Q/Orbitrap HRMS, and was dissolved in methanol-d4 to be detected by NMR.
Results: The main characteristics ion peaks of components with retention time of 9.
