Uncommon atypical mutations account for 10-15% of all epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) activating mutations in nonsmall-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Tumors harboring rare EGFR mutations show highly heterogeneous responses to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). There is insufficient clinical evidence for uncommon types of EGFR mutations, especially those with compound EGFR mutations.

Purpose: Investigating the diagnosis and treatment of bilateral Chylothorax after neck lymph node dissection for thyroid cancer.
Methods: The clinical data of a patient with bilateral chylothorax after neck lymph node dissection for thyroid cancer were retrospectively analyzed, and the relevant literature was reviewed.
Results: The patient underwent a total thyroidectomy and left neck lymph node dissection, with no evidence of lymph fluid leakage observed during the operation.

Objective: With the wide use of CT scan in clinical practice, more lung cancer was diagnosed in resectable stage. Pathological examination and genetic testing have become a routine procedure for lung adenocarcinoma following radical resection.
