Background: Bovine viral diarrhoea virus genotype 1 (BVDV-1) and bluetongue virus (BTV) are potent viral pathogens that may be transmitted through semen, resulting in the spread of diseases via artificial insemination. Thus, establishing an early detection method for BVDV-1 and BTV infection is important for the trading of semen. In this study, we developed two RT‒ddPCR methods to detect BVDV-1 and BTV, and each method was evaluated for repeatability, limit of detection and specificity.

Methods: All iERM eyes were graded into four stages based on the presence of ectopic inner foveal layers (EIFL) and underwent 23-gauge vitrectomy combined with ERM and internal limiting membrane (ILM) peeling, while their fellow eyes were treated as the control group. OCTA was used to measure retinal thickness(RT), foveal avascular zone (FAZ)-related parameters and superficial and deep capillary plexus (SCP and DCP) layers using 6 × 6 mm scans before, 1 month and 3 months after surgery.

With the escalating demand for exploration within confined spaces, bionic design methodologies have attracted considerable attention from researchers, primarily due to the intrinsic limitations of human access to hazardous environments. However, contemporary bionic robots primarily attain linear motion through the axial radial deformation of their body segments, thereby lacking the upright functionality that is characteristic of these organisms. In response to the limitations associated with current bionic earthworm robots concerning upright capability and stiffness modulation, we propose an innovative bionic robot that incorporates upright functionality and programmable stiffness.

To investigate the dynamic characteristics and safe operation speed threshold of metro train passing through curved bridge (CB) considering resilient wheels, the mechanical connection characteristics of rim and web are discussed firstly. Based on the train-track-bridge interaction theory, the coupled dynamic model of metro train-CB considering resilient wheels is established. Then, the vehicle-bridge coupled dynamic characteristics under the excitation of long-short wave track irregularity are researched.
