TLC was used in the qualitative study of Qing'e Pills. The contents of psoralen and isopsoralen in these pills were determined by TLC-densitometry. The proposed method can be used to control the quality of Qing'e Pills.

Methods: Network pharmacology was used to assess whether MQEP has a pro-angiogenic capacity and to predict its potential targets. Human umbilical vein endothelial cells were treated with glucocorticoids and MQEP to assess cell viability.

The editorial group of the clinical practice guideline for postmenopausal osteoporosis(PMOP) with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)(hereinafter referred to as "guideline") is composed of experts specialized in TCM orthopedics, TCM gynecology, clinical epidemiology, etc. The guideline was formulated through registration, collection and selection of clinical issues/outcome indicators, evidence retrieval and screening, preparation of systematic reviews, evaluation of evidence quality, formation of recommendations, drafting, and peer review. The syndromes and treatment of PMOP are elaborated in detail.

Qing'e pills is clinically used for treating osteoporosis in postmenopausal women in China. Eucommiae Cortex and Psoraleae Fructus are the main herbs of Qing'e pills and are both required to be salt-processed. In order to study the influence of salt-processing on the tissue distribution of Qing'e pills, a UPLC-MS/MS method was established for studying the tissue distribution of 12 main bioactive ingredients of Qing'e pills in rats.

Qing'e Pills is a Chinese traditional herbal product, which is often used to strengthen muscles and bones in TCM (traditional Chinese Medicine) practice. Its two main component herbs, namely, and are both required to be salt-fried according to TCM theory.
