The use of Speiser needles for interstitial implants has resulted in malfunctioning of HDR afterloading equipment due to seepage of blood. We have successfully used rounded ended needles in the patient after removal of the trocar ended needles, preventing the seepage of blood. This technique also helps to prevent any possible cross contamination between patients.

A 75-year-old female presented with fasting hypoglycemic episodes. A supervised fast ended at 72 hours fulfilling Whipple triad, with suppressed insulin and C-peptide levels, but discordantly suppressed serum β-hydroxybutyrate levels. After 21 months of recurring symptoms, a repeat fast ended at 48 hours with Whipple triad, suppressed serum β-hydroxybutyrate level, and borderline nonsuppressed C-peptide level, suggesting endogenous hyperinsulinism.

The issue of obesity continues to reach new levels globally, affecting individuals across the age continuum. Obesity in pregnancy is associated with myriad comorbidities which may negatively impact the fetus, particularly dysfunctional labor and failure to progress ending in unplanned cesarean delivery. Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the usefulness of ultrasound-guided core-needle biopsy (US-CNB) for diagnosing type 1 AIP and evaluate the radiological outcomes following steroid therapy.
Materials And Methods: From January 2017 to June 2023, patients with pathology results containing "lymphoplasmacytic infiltration" and "fibrosis" were enrolled. The detection rate of level 1 histology by International Consensus Diagnostic Criteria (ICDC) and the contribution of US-CNB were assessed.

A major paradigm shift in the diagnosis, management, and survival outcomes of early and advanced non-small cell lung cancer has transpired over the past few decades in thoracic oncology with the incorporation of molecular testing, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, neoadjuvant, and adjuvant approaches. However, transformation in the management and survival outcomes of rare lung tumors is lacking. Given the scarcity of these tumor types, randomized trials are rarely performed, and treatment is extrapolated from case series, tumor-agnostic trials, or cancers with similar histology.

Cases of cervical foreign bodies are considered rare, and cases of needle that have migrated into the spinal canal are fairly uncommon. The most well-documented cases are those of acupuncture needles. We present a case of an incidental finding of an intravenous needle extending posteriorly between C7 and T1 interspinous space and ending at the level of C5-C6 interspace in a 2-year-old boy.
