The aim of this systematic review was to explore alterations in the oral microbiota among individuals undergoing RT in the HN region.
Methods: A comprehensive search across six databases and grey literature was made.

Macrophage plasticity is critical for maintaining immune function and developing solid tumors; however, the macrophage polarization mechanism remains incompletely understood. Our findings reveal that Mg entry through distinct plasma membrane channels is critical to macrophage plasticity. Naïve macrophages displayed a previously unidentified Mg dependent current, and TRPM7-like activity, which modulates its survival.

Aim: The objective of this study was to examine orthodontic treatment of patients with disabilities in Norway, as perceived by orthodontists.
Methods And Results: A digital questionnaire was sent out to the 220 registered members of the Norwegian Orthodontic Society and a response rate of 41% (n = 90) was achieved. The majority (92%) had received referrals for patients with disabilities, 53% reported treating up to 10 patients, while 37% reported treating up to 50 patients in the last 5 years.
