Background And Objectives: Historically, Indigenous American (IA) populations have faced barriers to adequate health care. Although IA people experience higher rates of traumatic brain injury-related mortality than other racial groups in the United States, attributes of their neurosurgical care have not been evaluated. We demonstrate and compare care patterns and outcomes in IA and non-IA adults with acute neurosurgical injuries and identify disparities limiting access to medical care.

Background: We aimed to investigate the clinical and molecular characteristics of different degrees of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) protein expression in HER2-negative breast cancer and the related factors affecting the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in HER2-low breast cancer patients.
Methods: The study endpoint was pathological complete remission (PCR). Blood specimens and fresh cancer tissue samples were collected before neoadjuvant chemotherapy for whole-exon sequencing (WES) and RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), and patients were divided into a human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-low group and a HER2-0 group according to their HER2 expression status via bioinformatics analysis.

Aims: Diabetes mellitus (DM) induces increased inflammation of atherosclerotic plaques, resulting in elevated plaque instability. Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy was shown to decrease plaque size and increase stability in non-DM animal models. We now studied the effect of MSC therapy in a streptozotocin-induced hyperglycaemia mouse model using a clinically relevant dose of adipose tissue-derived MSCs (ASCs).

Computerized molecular docking methodologies are pivotal in screening, a crucial facet of modern drug design. ChooseLD, a docking simulation software, combines structure- and ligand-based drug design methods with empirical scoring. Despite advancements in computerized molecular docking methodologies, there remains a gap in optimizing the predictive capabilities of docking simulation software.

Interventions targeting the inflammatory characteristics of atherosclerosis hold promising potential. Although interleukin (IL)-10 is widely acknowledged for its anti-inflammatory effects, systemic administration of IL-10 has limitations due to its short half-life and significant systemic side effects.
