Background: Automation in radiotherapy presents a promising solution to the increasing cancer burden and workforce shortages. However, existing automated methods for breast radiotherapy lack a comprehensive, end-to-end solution that meets varying standards of care.
Purpose: This study aims to develop a complete portfolio of automated radiotherapy treatment planning for intact breasts, tailored to individual patient factors, clinical approaches, and available resources.

Agriculture stands as one of the major economic pillars worldwide, with food production contributing significantly to income growth. However, agricultural activities also entail risks associated with uncontrollable factors along the supply chain. To address these challenges, mathematical models have been developed for forecasting crucial variables in managing agribusiness activities.

Background: The ACP 215 automated cell processor is used to glycerolize and deglycerolize red cell concentrates (RCCs). Its primary advantage over the COBE 2991, previously used to cryopreserve RCCs, is that it maintains a closed system enabling extended post-thaw expiry. However, it was observed that post-deglycerolization hematocrits (Hct) of units processed with the LN236 kit are markedly lower than those processed using the COBE 2991.

We present a standardized metadata template for assays used in pharmaceutical drug discovery research, according to the FAIR principles. We also describe the use of an automated tool for annotating assays from a variety of sources, including PubChem, commercial assay providers, and the peer-reviewed literature, to this metadata template. Adoption of a standardized metadata template will allow drug discovery scientists to better understand and compare the increasing amounts of assay data becoming available, and will facilitate the use of artificial intelligence tools and other computational methods for analysis and prediction.

In order to limit the global warming to 1.5 °C as decided by the Paris Agreement, the greenhouse gas emissions have to be dramatically reduced within the next couple of years. In order to realize this in industrial sectors with low to medium temperature requirements, such as food or pulp and paper industry, fossil fuels must be replaced by renewable energy sources to generate electricity, steam and process heat.
