Background: Opioid-related fatal overdoses are occurring at historically high levels and increasing each year. Accessible social and financial support are imperative to the initiation and success of treatment for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) offer effective treatment but there are many more people with untreated OUD than receiving evidence-based medication.

In spite of the commendable global Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV) coverage in the last two decades, completion and timeliness of receipt of all the required doses are still below target. In Uganda, the 3 + 0 PCV regimen has been reported to have a steady decline in the completion rate and the reasons for the delayed completion are unidentified. This study aimed at assessing the influence of socio-demographic factors on delayed PCV completion among young children.

Background: The WHO considers anemia in pregnancy a severe public health issue when prevalence surpasses 40%. In response, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to examine anemia among pregnant women in Egypt, focusing on its prevalence, determinants, and associated complications.
Methods: We conducted a systematic literature search for studies published between January 1, 2010, and August 18, 2024, to identify studies from Egypt reporting on anemia in pregnant women, including its prevalence, associated determinants, and complications.
