The paper is dedicated to the matter of topical interest--that of diagnosing allergic reactions during the preclinical stage and of potentialities of clearing away adverse reactions to drugs without employment of medicinal agents. A characteristic feature of the paper is an original approach based on the authors' method. Reflected in the table are observations of the authors in respect of six entities versus analogous diagnosis without allergy and essentially healthy subjects--blood donors. The development of allergy is accompanied by a striking augmentation of CIC, which fact is to be considered in routine medical practice as a diagnostic criterion to be used together with the tests suggested by the authors.

Background: The low incidence and poor prognosis primary trastuzumab resistance (PTR) in HER2-positive breast cancer has limited research into possible treatments. Thus, it remains unclear whether this group of patients could benefit from nontargeting HER2 antiangiogenic therapy.

Patients And Methods: We collected the medical data for HER2-positive patients with PTR who received apatinib 250 mg and trastuzumab-based chemotherapy (ATBC) between March 18, 2017, and March 31, 2022.

Objectives: A major characteristic of health anxiety is the tendency to attribute benign bodily sensations to serious illnesses. Background: Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is implicated as a necessary factor in the development of multiple sclerosis (MS) and may also be a driver of disease activity. Although it is not clear whether ongoing viral replication is the driver for MS pathology, MS researchers have considered the prospect of using drugs with potential efficacy against EBV in the treatment of MS. We have undertaken scientific and lived experience expert panel reviews to shortlist existing licensed therapies that could be used in later-stage clinical trials in MS.

Doxorubicin (DOX) is a commonly used chemotherapeutic medication for treating malignancies, although its cardiotoxicity limits its use. There is growing evidence that alteration of the mitochondrial fission/fusion dynamic processes accompanied by excessive reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and alteration of calcium Ca homeostasis are potential underlying mechanisms of DOX-induced cardiotoxicity (DIC). Metformin (Met) is an AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) activator that has antioxidant properties and cardioprotective effects.
