The rats were fed with albuminous concentrate from the genetically modified soybean 40-3-2 ("Monsanto Co", USA) 1.25 g/rat/day for 5 months. Their blood, urea and liver were investigated to measure total protein and glucose levels, aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase activities, pH, relative density and creatinine level in the urea, as well as hepatic enzyme activity of the I and II phases of xenobiotic metabolism, and the whole and non-sedimentated lysosomal enzyme activities. The lasting albuminous concentrate supplementation from the genetically modified soybean to the rat's diet has been shown to modify hepatocyte membrane function and enzymatic activity within physiological standards. It was not harmful to the adaptation systems.

Law intensive laser radiation is a multifactorial, inherently information-power influence on biological tissues. Coinciding under characteristics with natural, the dosed out external influence is necessary for live organisms not only as a source of free energy, but also as the supplier of building materials. As an alarm indicator we had chosen the change of concentration of microcells in blood whey, owing to high sensitivity of this parameter.

The rats exposed for 14 weeks to odourless kerosene mists (concentration of 75 and 300 mg/m3) had their urinary chemical and morphotic composition determined. In addition, morphological and cytoenzymatic examinations of kidneys were carried out. The findings were: increased pH and protein concentration and single erythrocytes in urine and also: passive congestion of renal cortex and medulla, infiltrates composed of granulocytes and eosinophils and albuminous casts in renal tubules.

A method for preparing albuminous standards with various concentrations of NBT formazans is proposed. Using these standards, the molar extinction coefficients for half and fully reduced formazans of NBT in the region from 450 to 650 nm were calculated. Since the absorption curves of half and fully reduced NBT formazans are identical either in vitro in the standards or enzymatically in tissues, the extinction coefficients calculated on the basis of these standards may be used for densitometrical estimation of cellular dehydrogenase activity.
