Over the last forty years, observational methods for exposure assessment have been proposed. Introduction: Glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) is a widely used industrial polymerization material. Current occupational exposure limits (OELs) for GMA in China show significant disparities compared to those established by international regulatory bodies, including the United States, the European Union, and Japan. The American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) Threshold Limit Values (TLVs) for lifting provides risk zones for assessing two-handed lifting tasks. This paper describes two computational models for identifying the lifting risk zones using gyroscope information from five inertial measurement units (IMUs) attached to the lifter. Two models were developed: (1) the ratio model using body segment length ratios of the forearm, upper arm, trunk, thigh, and calf segments, and (2) the ratio + length model using actual measurements of the body segments in the ratio model.

Bioaerosols, pose potential health risks, yet quantitative assessments of non-carcinogenic risks from bioaerosol inhalation are limited. This study introduces a novel approach for assessing non-carcinogenic health risks using bioaerosol exposure data. The method employs the Average Daily Dose and Hazard Quotient (HQ) metrics, adapted from US Environmental Protection Agency guidelines, with the Reference Dose (RfD) based on thresholds from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists.
