Seven cases of extracranial schwannomas in head and neck area are presented. The anatomical structures involved were: tongue, oral mucosa, nasal cavity, IX and XI cranial nerves. It rarely appears (7 cases in 19 years). The clinic is anodyne and its diagnosis is anatomopathological. It is treated by enucleation and relapse is infrequent.
