Adjuvant endocrine therapy (AET) is essential for improving survival and reducing mortality and recurrence rates in breast cancer (BrCa) patients. However, the adherence to AET among BrCa patients is poor, and there is no scale to measure adherence to AET or the reasons for non-adherence among BrCa patients in mainland China. The aim of this study was to assess the psychometric properties of the simple Chinese version of the Medication Adherence Reasons (MAR) scale in BrCa patients undergoing AET.

Objective: The global prevalence of nontuberculous mycobacterial pulmonary disease (NTM-PD) has been steadily increasing. A few small retrospective studies have reported a poor prognosis associated with chronic pulmonary aspergillosis (CPA) as a complication of NTM-PD. We investigated and compared mortality rates and risk factors for pre-pandemic and pandemic all-cause mortality in a population-based cohort of men and women in Arkhangelsk, Russia. A prospective cohort study enrolled 2,324 participants aged 35 to 69 years between 2015 and 2017. All participants were followed up for all-cause deaths using the mortality registry.
