Background: Different parotid tumors differ in terms of treatment strategies due to their distinct biological behaviors. Time-dependent diffusion magnetic resonance imaging (t-dMRI) can characterize and quantify the cytological indexes, and then aid the differential diagnosis of various tumors. However, the value of t-dMRI in the analysis of parotid gland tumors remains unclear.

Background: Cervical cytology screening and colposcopy play crucial roles in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical cancer prevention. Previous studies have provided evidence that artificial intelligence (AI) has remarkable diagnostic accuracy in these procedures. With this systematic review and meta-analysis, we aimed to examine the pooled accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity of AI-assisted cervical cytology screening and colposcopy for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer screening.

Background: The epidemiology of vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) in Greece remains poorly reported and outdated.
Objectives: We therefore conducted a 2-year retrospective survey to assess the epidemiological aspects of the infection among symptomatic Greek patients.
Patients/methods: High vaginal swab samples were collected from adult women with clinically suspected VVC attending a private diagnostic laboratory in Athens.

Background: Persistent infection with high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) is a significant risk factor for cervical cancer. HPV typing and cytology are conducted in women of appropriate age to assess the risk of cervical lesions and to guide the need for further diagnostic procedures such as colposcopy, cervical biopsy, or treatment. This article explores methods to predict the risks of high-grade precancerous cervical lesions based on high-risk HPV typing.

Unlabelled: Biochemical analyses of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) are routinely performed at diagnosis in many pediatric oncology and hematology centers when acute leukemia is diagnosed. However, the clinical relevance of these analyses remains unclear. We conducted a retrospective analysis of biochemical CSF data from children diagnosed with acute leukemia at two French hospitals between 2016 and 2023 assessing the results in relation to the presence or absence of leukemic neuromeningeal involvement and the correlation between cytological and biochemical analyses.
