Assessing vines' vigour is essential for vineyard management and automatization of viticulture machines, including shaking adjustments of berry harvesters during grape harvest or leaf pruning applications. To address these problems, based on a standardized growth class assessment, labeled ground truth data of precisely located grapevines were predicted with specifically selected Machine Learning (ML) classifiers (Random Forest Classifier (RFC), Support Vector Machines (SVM)), utilizing multispectral UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) sensor data. The input features for ML model training comprise spectral, structural, and texture feature types generated from multispectral orthomosaics (spectral features), Digital Terrain and Surface Models (DTM/DSM- structural features), and Gray-Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) calculations (texture features).

Introduction: Many questions are still being asked about the actual health effects of exposure to a fume event for airline crewmembers. To shed new light on this controversy about so-called aerotoxic syndrome, we undertook a large-scale epidemiological study.
Methods: We present a retrospective cohort study involving 14,953 crewmembers, including 2577 exposed to a fume event and 12,376 matched controls to estimate the hazard ratio of a subsequent sickness.
Introduction: With the increasing use of aeromedical transport for critically ill patients, it is essential to understand the impact of pressure changes on drug infusion delivery systems. As airplanes ascend and descend, gases/bubbles are released from solutions when ambient pressure decreases and dissolves when pressure increases. This may affect mechanical fluid delivery systems and cause clinically significant changes, especially within a critical care setting.

With the increasing height and rotor diameter of wind turbines, bat activity monitoring within the risk area becomes more challenging. This study investigates the impact of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) on bat activity and explores acoustic bat detection via UAS as a new data collection method in the vicinity of wind turbines. We tested two types of UAS, a multicopter and a Lighter Than Air (LTA) UAS, to understand how they may affect acoustically recorded and analyzed bat activity level for three echolocation groups: Pipistrelloid, Myotini, and Nyctaloid.

Importance: In the US, traumatic injuries are a leading cause of mortality across all age groups. Patients with severe trauma often require time-sensitive, specialized medical care to reduce mortality; air transport is associated with improved survival in many cases. However, it is unknown whether the provision of and access to air transport are influenced by factors extrinsic to medical needs, such as race or ethnicity.
