Objectives: The purpose of this study is to determine what demographic and anatomical variables affect successful placement of a superior medullary ramus screw, and how they affect the maximal diameter of that screw.
Methods: Design: Prognostic Level IV SETTING: Level I Trauma Center Patients/Participants: Two hundred consecutive patients underwent computed tomography (CT) of the pelvis. We included those patients aged 18 and older without osseous injury or abnormalities precluding measurement.

Goldfish (), subjected to millennia of artificial selection and breeding, have diversified into numerous ornamental varieties, such as the celestial-eye (CE) goldfish, noted for its unique dorsal eye rotation. Previous studies have primarily focused on anatomical modifications in CE goldfish eyes, yet the molecular underpinnings of their distinctive eye orientation remain poorly understood. This study employed high-throughput transcriptome and proteome sequencing on 110-day-old full-sibling CE goldfish, which displayed either anterior or upward eye rotations.

Midline Anterior Neck Inclusion Cysts (MANICs) are rare congenital anomalies caused by improper embryonic fusion. These superficial benign lesions typically appear yellowish and cystic without deeper anatomic connections. We describe an 11-month-old boy with a stable, asymptomatic, yellow, elastic cystic lesion on the midline of the anterior neck, measuring 4 mm and present since shortly after birth.
