Background: Resistant hypertension (RH) is defined as uncontrolled blood pressure (BP) despite treatment with at least three or more antihypertensive agents. Compelling evidence has shown that such a population has a greater risk of cardiovascular events as well as mortality. Although mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists (MRAs) have been shown to be an effective fourth-line treatment for RH, a significant proportion of RH patients do not achieve their blood pressure target.

Background: Preventive medications are potential targets for deprescribing in older adults with dementia as goals of care change from preventive to palliative. Yet, prescribers lack communication guidance to address deprescribing.
Objective: Using bisphosphonates as a case example, we sought to characterize and compare communication preferences of prescribers and family/informal caregivers regarding deprescribing.

Objectives: Although medication abortion drugs technically require a prescription in India, research suggests that they are often available directly from pharmacies. We conducted a mystery client study in the capital city of Delhi to explore the availability, accessibility, and pharmacy dispensing practices of mifepristone/misoprostol in the absence of a prescription.
Study Design: Using two predetermined client profiles-one of an unmarried woman and one of her male partner-we visited community pharmacies in different neighborhoods.

Methods: This single-centre prospective observational study was conducted between February and October 2021 at the Jewish General Hospital in Montréal, Quebec.
