Epidemiological studies of nuclear industry workers are of substantial importance to understanding the risk of cancer consequent to low-level exposure to radiation, and these studies should provide vital evidence for the construction of the international system of radiological protection. Recent studies involve large numbers of workers and include health outcomes for workers who accumulated moderate (and even high) doses over prolonged periods while employed during the earlier years of the nuclear industry. The interpretation of the findings of these recent studies has proved to be disappointingly difficult.

However, it is often difficult to perform language tasks due to several limitations such as difficulty in awakening during surgery and intraoperative seizures. Neoplastic meningitis, also known as leptomeningeal metastases, is a rare clinical entity seen in less than 1%-2% of primary nervous system tumors. Diagnosis of leptomeningeal metastases is difficult and is achieved by cytologic evidence of malignant cells in cerebrospinal fluid, or demonstration of radiologic abnormality. 18F-FDG PET/CT can detect leptomeningeal metastases before anatomical changes.

Virtual reality technology offers an extended and repeatable environment for delivering digital learning and training. This study investigated the acceptance of a smartphone virtual reality training program among nursing students for chemotherapy administration using a modified Technology Acceptance Model. The teaching materials for the chemotherapy administration process were designed using smartphone virtual reality to provide prelicensure students with an opportunity to learn procedural steps in a controlled, risk-free environment.

Phantom perceptions like tinnitus occur without any identifiable environmental or bodily source. The mechanisms and key drivers behind tinnitus are poorly understood. The dominant framework, suggesting that tinnitus results from neural hyperactivity in the auditory pathway following hearing damage, has been difficult to investigate in humans and has reached explanatory limits.
