Background: Vitamin D deficiency promotes initiation and sustainment of numerous medical disorders, including cancer, diabetes mellitus, autoimmune disorders, and cardiovascular diseases. The expression of vitamin D receptors by melanocytes suggests a role for it in controlling their physiology.
Aim: Therefore, the aim of this study was to compare serum vitamin D levels in patients with vitiligo and normal healthy individuals.

Specifically, the research examines the relationship between color patterns (LUTs) in war-related visuals and their perceived authenticity, highlighting the economic, political, and social ramifications of such manipulative practices. AI technologies have significantly advanced the production of highly convincing, yet artificial, war imagery, blurring the line between fact and fiction.

The present work aims to shed light on the question of whether certain psychological characteristics go along with choosing an e-coach offer to support healthy Internet use when reporting elevated Internet Use Disorder (IUD) tendencies. Data were from a large-scale stepped care approach study to treat persons with varying degrees of IUD tendencies. Recruitment for advertising the download of a smartphone app included social media, videos by influencers, paid ads, TV, radio, newspapers, workshops, and vocational schools.

Background: Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the major contributor to global mortality and are gaining incremental attention following the COVID-19 outbreak. Epigenetic events such as DNA methylation, histone modifications, and non-coding RNAs have a significant impact on the incidence and onset of CVDs. Altered redox status is one of the major causative factors that regulate epigenetic pathways linked to CVDs.
