Dry matter intake (DMI) determination is essential for effective management of meat goats, especially in optimizing feed utilization and production efficiency. Unfortunately, farmers often face challenges in accurately predicting DMI which leads to wastage of feed and an increase in the cost of production. This investigation aimed to predict DMI in Black Bengal goats by using body weight (BW), body condition score (BCS), average daily gain (ADG), and metabolic body weight (MBW) by applying an artificial neural network (ANN) model.

For example, three-dimensional differential phase contrast (3D DPC) imaging uses through-focus images captured under different illumination patterns deconvoluted with a computed 3D phase transfer function (PTF) to reconstruct the 3D refractive index. In conventional 3D DPC with semi-circular illumination, partially spatially coherent illumination often diminishes phase contrast, exacerbating inherent noise, and can lead to a large number of zero values in the 3D PTF, resulting in strong low-frequency artifacts and deteriorating imaging resolution.

Designing a conventional refractive microscope objective that provides well-corrected imaging over a broad spectral range can be challenging, if not impossible. In contrast, reflective optics are inherently achromatic, so a system composed entirely of reflective elements is free from chromatic aberrations and, as a result, can image over an ultra-wide spectral range with perfect color correction.

Purpose: Material decomposition induces substantial noise in basis images and their synthesized computed tomography (CT) images. A likelihood-based bilateral filter was previously developed as a neighborhood filter that effectively reduces noise. However, this method is sensitive to image contrast, and the noise texture needs improvement.

The aim of this study was to explore whether 24-h ambulatory central (aortic) blood pressure (BP) has an advantage over office central aortic BP in screening for hypertension-mediated target organ damage (HMOD). A total of 714 inpatients with primary hypertension and the presence of several cardiovascular risk factors or complications involving clinical HMOD were enrolled. Twenty-four hour central aortic BP was measured by means of a noninvasive automated oscillometric device (Mobil-O-Graph).
