The data about the ability of various substances to cause definite reactions in biological objects are adduced, and, in particular, about the efficacy of a small doses of antitumoral chemopreparations in experiment. The results of investigation of the application efficacy of various doses of immunomodulating agents, such as arbisol, nucleoplat, the substrate from gram-negative bacteria Yersinia enterocolitica, antitumoral vaccine from the tumoral cells are presented for the cancer chemotherapy. While application of super-small doses of an antitumoral vaccine there was noted statistically significant inhibition of tumoral growth.

CBA-1205 is a novel humanized antibody targeting delta-like 1 homolog (DLK1) that enhances antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity activity. DLK1 overexpression has been reported in various cancer types, such as hepatocellular carcinoma and neuroblastoma. CBA-1205 demonstrates potent antitumor activity in multiple tumor models, making it a potential treatment option for DLK1-expressing cancers.

Medical gases were primarily used for respiratory therapy and anesthesia, which showed promising potential in the cancer therapy. Several physiological and pathological processes were affected by the key gases, such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitric oxide, hydrogen sulfide, and carbon monoxide. Oxygen targets shrinking the tumor via hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and once combined with radiation therapy it enhances its effect.

Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) remains a significant clinical challenge due to its aggressive behavior and poor prognosis, making the development of novel therapeutics with enhanced efficacy and minimal side effects critical. Metformin, a widely used antidiabetic agent, has recently emerged as a potential adjunctive therapy for HNSCC, exhibiting both direct anti-tumor and immunomodulatory effects. This review comprehensively explores the multifaceted role of metformin in shaping the tumor immune microenvironment within HNSCC.

Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) significantly influence the clinical outcomes of immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) therapy. Strategies aimed at reprogramming TAMs from the immunosuppressive M2 phenotype to the pro-inflammatory M1 phenotype hold promise for enhancing ICB efficacy. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS), a potent Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) ligand, can reprogram TAMs toward an M1 phenotype.

Purpose: BMS-986299 is a first-in-class, NOD-, LRR-, and pyrin-domain containing-3 (NLRP3) inflammasome agonist enhancing adaptive immune and T-cell memory responses.
Materials And Methods: This was a phase-I (NCT03444753) study that assessed the safety and tolerability of intra-tumoral BMS-986299 monotherapy (part 1A) and in combination (part 1B) with nivolumab, and ipilimumab in advanced solid tumors. Reported here are single-center results.
