The inhibitory effects of five angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors on the uptake of an aminocephalosporin antibiotic, cefroxadine, by rabbit small intestinal brush-border membrane vesicles were examined in the presence of an inward H+ gradient.
